"This hotel is in a magnificent position overlooking a majestic cathedral and our room had a perfect view of the church. One particular member of the restaurant staff was unbelievably helpful and generous and the food was excellent. The room was comfortable but had no tissues or hair conditioner. "Overall our stay was lovely and the hotel is conveniently located within beautiful grounds. A few things to consider for improvement though; the shower leaks onto the bathroom floor which soaked up the towels every time we had a shower. The bathroom floor therefore became very slippery, which could be quite unsafe if someone did not have fast reflexes (I almost slipped a few times). "Truely a wonderful experience! We were visiting the shrine at Fatima. Staying here made me feel like I was staying out in the countryside, yet walkable the sanctuary. Accommodations were simple yet elegant, beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast was very bountiful and delicious and the service was perfect. The swimming pool was amazing—warm and relaxing. The grounds cannot be described as they are too beautiful for words. The animals were a very special touch. I strongly recommend this property. "
