"This is a relatively new, undiscovered gem. "Boutique safari experience" is probably the best description, but also felt a great connection with the staff and driver and tracker. Mateo and Robert rocked. We saw SO much. And the food was exceptional. The glamping tents were super,. Lion roars at night. What more do you want?"

"Kruger Park Lodge in general is a very nice property. The property is very well kept, clean and well looked after. The facilities are great with the hippo hide where you can watch hippos safely as well as an extremely nice golf course on the property with impala walking on the course. The pool area is very nice and the restaurant (G’s) is good. There is also a lapa area where they do a traditional braai (think bbq on steroids) and a river area you can walk to. "The hotel is located in an excellent position for visiting neighbouring towns and sites of interests. It is also very close to Phabeni entry gate to Kruger National Park. The room was very comfortable and if we had time we would have enjoyed relaxing in the garden and beside the pool. "

"Very nice and clean house in Kruger Parke Lodge with enough space for 5, even 6 persons. 3 bathrooms. Washing mashine and dryer worked well, at least during non-load-sheeding times. The beds were a bit inconvenient for us. Probably because of its thatched roof, the house smelled a little like a horse stable. Some maintenance work in the building during our stay, but this was announced. One needs to be aware that the house is not close to the main area with reception, restaurant and pool. Most...

"Our stay at Elephant Plains Game Lodge was unforgettable. From the warm welcome to the seamless rooming experience, everything was handled with care and professionalism. The highlight of our trip was the remarkable safari adventures (game drives), where we had the chance to see elephants, giraffes, lions, rhinos, leopards, and more up close—a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. The delicious meals, tailored to accommodate vegetarian preferences, were excellent. The staff also went above and beyond, assisting with retrieving our luggage from Johannesburg and providing thoughtful support with laundry and toiletries. Their hospitality and attention to detail made our stay exceptional. We are truly grateful for this amazing experience and will gladly recommend Elephant Plains to anyone visiting the area. We can’t wait to return!"
