"Lovely hotel just out of town but they shuttle you in and out (and to the slopes) - 5 min drive max. And I walked into town this evening - 15 mins downhill. But the best thing were the staff - absolutely lovely. Big mention to Louise who was helpful and delightful. Thank you to everyone working at Mamie Megeve. Highly recommend. "

"The hotel is ideal for skiing and is essentially a ski in/ski out property with a very short walk from the back of the hotel to the gondola. There is a ski rental at the entrance to the hotel. The staff is very nice. However, the hotel is a little worn and could use some updating. The elevator is small and outdated; have to push down button even when going up leading to much inefficiency with people getting on for both directions. "We booked the room with the expectation to find a 4 stars hotel, both families came with our kids and it was supposed to be our winter holiday, but unfortunately it become a nightmare. Rooms were dirty, walls were damaged, juicy or vomit on the floor, the sofa was badly stained and super dirty, toilet was licking and made a bad noise all night, sheets were dirty, no hair drier, no basic hygiene objects, with stinky hair and with a lot of small hauls, the shower didn' t work because the hot water...

Marvellous view from a South-facing room with balcony, as well as from reception and from the restaurant. Super-practical ventilated lockers in the ski room. Super close to one of the main chair lifts. Special mentions for the lady in charge of service at the restaurant, for dinners, and for service at the Sport 2000 ski rental shop inside the building. "Spacious apartment. Lots of storage space. Slightly small living/dining area/kitchen when compared with the rest of the apartment. Needs good of snow cover to be truly ski in/ski out. With only the pistes covered it was a 5 minute walk. Some nice add-ons - pool table in reception and communal washing machines and dryer. "
