"the onsen was seriously the highlight of the trip, and the staff was extremely helpful in helping me when I left something in my previous hotel, even though they didn't have to. "Staff were friendly and welcoming, and service was great. Views of Mt Sakurajima were absolutely beautiful which is partly why I booked. I opted for a room with private onsen as I have tattoos. They offered tattoo covers but I thought they looked a but silly as I ended up looking like a patchwork quilt. We did did go down the hotels cable car to check out the relaxation room and enjoy some ice pops and tea. My only disappointment was being offered dining option times of 5:30 or 7:30pm, we asked...
