"Truely a wonderful experience! We were visiting the shrine at Fatima. Staying here made me feel like I was staying out in the countryside, yet walkable the sanctuary. Accommodations were simple yet elegant, beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast was very bountiful and delicious and the service was perfect. The swimming pool was amazing—warm and relaxing. The grounds cannot be described as they are too beautiful for words. The animals were a very special touch. I strongly recommend this property. "

"Had a lovely room with a Juliet balcony with a view of The Sanctuary. We were upgraded and given a bottle of red wine. Breakfast had lots of choice and very enjoyable. We didn’t eat there in the evening and the bar was closed, which was fine for us. Pool area nice, although we only looked. Brilliant location for The Sanctuary. Overall, we recommend this hotel. "
