"Good clean hotel with great service from all staff we encountered. Room was comfortable and really clean with good good views over Plymouth on 10th floor. The shower pressure wasn’t great. Liked the leisure facilities and the restaurant on the top floor again with excellent views. The breakfast was delicious with good selection. Reception staff greeted us well as did staff in restaurant. Also cleaning staff on 10th floor (Eleanor and another lady) were super. Would definitely recommend...

When I ran a bath the water was brown - I guess because of either old pipes or recycled rainwater? But it would have been good to have a note explaining it in the bathroom, so I felt reassured to take my bath (I didn't!). Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful on the whole. The views, the walks and the convenient sporting equipment...

"Room was spacious, but lacking a couple of items to make the stay easier. Full length mirror would have been ideal, a dresser table with vanity mirror. The towels were somewhat thread bare and as for bath towels, on the small side, but the shower was good, plenty of power. Had to clean out the ceiling extractor fan as it was clogged up with built up dust (it won't work efficiently if blocked up!) A little attention to detail would not go a miss. St Ives "
