"We were a bit worried before arriving, due to some very mixed reviews. However, our stay was good. We used the shuttle bus without any problems, there was always space. There is a lot of choice in the breakfast and evening buffets. Our booking through Expedia also allowed access to "the lounge" where you could get drinks and nibbles at set times, late afternoon and evening. The only annoying thing was a booking system for breakfast and dinner. Dinner slots went live at 3pm and breakfast at 9pm...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our Ryoken experience. We stayed in the Japanese style room and had dinner and breakfast. Both exceeded our expectations. The meals were served in our own private room and were very elaborate and delicious. So many different dishes were included. The staff were very nice. The onsen experience was also very fun. "My husband and I spent one amazing night here after hiking Mt Fuji the day before. We didn't know what to expect at our first Onsen but Kusatsu Onsen Buon exceeded our expectations. It is conveniently located by Yubatake Hot Springs and Sainokawara Park. It has a very zen and peaceful atmosphere. We booked a 90 min full body massage at the hotel and the masseuses were spectacular. They addressed every aching body concern after our hike! The breakfast was also plus. I would highly recommend them...

"We love staying at historic hotel. Best feature of Natalya is it's on-site onsen which is convienently accessible for hotel guests. Dining was great but they need more staff training for international guests. Checkout was a bit chaotic and inefficient with guests sitting around in the lobby waiting for the turn to be checked out (two staff at reception, and only one was doing all the checkouts). Otherwise, the hotel is convienently located close to town center and walking distance to the bus...
