The hotel itself is on is Ita Thao side of Sun Moon lake, which in my opinion is the better side. We didn't like the Main side as much. You step out the door pretty much onto the main road with all the street food vendors for snacks/breakfast/lunch/dinner. As they shut up by 7pm it doesn't disturb you in the evening. "Loved this hotel one of the best we've stayed in around Taiwan. Great bed, bathroom with bath and good shower, good sized room and good breakfast. Only suggestions would be coordination of the lifts as you press each button for each lift at the moment. Also pool opening at 5pm when the sun sets within the hour is very limiting, plus it was very cold. But as we said we did like the hotel and staff are very friendly. "
