"This was a great family vacation. I would recommend it if your little ones are at least 4 years old (or older) and can be occupied without screens on the drives. The drives range from 1.5-3ish hours. We did 2 nights, which meant 4 drives -- and that was the perfect amount of time for us. Easy drive over from Cape Town. Sune, our driver, was great! "We loved our stay at Doorn Kraal. Firstly the staff are lovely and so professional. Our room (the 2 bedroom cottage) was super neat and tidy, and it had everything we needed and it was very quiet as it’s a bit further away. Just be mindful at night, there may be one or two spiders in the trees when you walk to the cottage (have a flashlight). The food was soo delicious, we could not stop thinking about the wonderful dinner. We will stay again. Thanks to all the staff! "
