"I chose here due to it being the perfect location and being the right price. I’m so pleased I did because the place and the team exceeded my expectations by a long way. Service, food, drinks all of the highest quality. Evening meal served in a really nice room, same as breakfast. The room I had was 205 and it was clean, comfy, spacious. "The hotel is in a quiet rural area out of town. It would be beneficial if you have a car, but there is a good bus service and the bus stop is across the road from the hotel. When we were there the hotel was being renovated but we never found this a problem and everyone was very helpful, lovely staff."

"This is a lovely hotel, with charm and character. Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were cozy, clean and warm, which was great as it was freezing outside! The bathroom also clean and in good condition - the shower was great! The location was also better than we thought - we were able to get to other lakes and towns, a shopping outlet and even the coast within 30-60min drive. The only 'quirk' with this hotel was that at each breakfast, we got a different portion size, despite ordering...

"Didnt have my booking on the system, appeared to give me the reserve room that they use for last case scenarios. The stairwell ran diagonally above the bed so every time someone walked up the stairs it boomed through just above your head. Hidden charges for using the gym. Main reception in a different building. Free parking was the only decent part. "
