"Liked this hotel very much. The room was lovely, well equipped, and very comfortable. And the view of the castle was pretty nice too. The only slight negative was that the cooked breakfast (waffles and Eggs Benedict) was all right but not wonderful, so not quite up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. Everything else was terrific."

"This is the perfect location! We were able to park our car (£20/night) and was in walking distance to most other places. It was across the street from various restaurants and close to The Vennel and one of the Edinburgh Sightseeing bus stops as well as one of the Lothian bus stops. Steps from Victoria Street and only a few more steps to the Royal Mile and Princes Street Gardens. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. We booked a balcony room with views of the castle and loved it! The breakfast was quite a spread and very tasty! Would definitely recommend. "

"10/10. However, I just need to say that the cleaning lady needs to observe proper hygiene as her body odor leaves a lingering strong smell in the hallways and in the room. Not being mean but just really need to give the feedback to better improve the services. "

"Amazing customer service. Faye greeted me at the front desk and checked me in early, walked me to my room and helped carry my bags. I felt spoiled in the best way. I had expiation service from all staff. The pool and spa were amazing. I can’t express enough how great this place is! 12/10! "
