"This place was charming and the backyard was so peaceful and beautiful. We only stayed for one night (our last night before catching our plane leaving Portugal). The rooms are on the cozy size but the huge backyard patio and garden with chickens and two friendly cat more than entertained our 7 year old. Breakfast was served early and VERY delicious and varied. They were able to accommodate one of our travel companions who is gluten free. Communication with the property easy with quick responses."

"The hotel was located on the slope which you need to walk with care from slipping. Is dangerous for old people. The room is a good size to place luggage’s. Shower water pressure is great. But the toilet area is tight if the person is big size might have a hard time getting in. Does not have space to place toiletries at the sink area."

"We chose an area slightly remote and it was an oasis at the end of busy days. Very close to stove for food, groceries, sights. Had unusually bad weather and a bout of sickness so didn’t enjoy the vast grounds and pool as much as could have but absolutely would recommend this place to couples and families. Kitchen was great. "Beautiful, quiet, small hotel. Spacious comfortable room (we were in a premium room). You'd benefit from having a car here, but it's not essential. It's slightly inconvenient the hotel doesn't offer evening meals but the village is a 5-10min walk downhill and has several restaurants (we went in the quiet season and there were always at least 2 open).
