"We have stayed a couple of times now. This last time there was no room service. Also the bar was running out of spirits like vodka. They mentioned they had changed supplier so don't know if this was the issue "

"Was a comfortable stay for a solo business traveller. Only ate breakfast which was plentiful and the cooked food was excellent "

"Hi This was a lovely hotel. Inside it has been renovated and a lovely dining area, lounge and bar. The rooms are nicely decorated. Outside lets it down as it needs a good paint. Close to the sea and to the town. I’d stay again "

"We have stayed at the Mayflower many times over the last 8 years. The same manager is still there which is lovely to see. Food is always good and service is great. It's a home away from home. "

"Lovely spacious, clean room with all facilities you’d expect. Super comfy bed. Cosy lighting for atmosphere, but would benefit with additional brighter light source for working or make up. My room was on 3rd floor, up steep stairs - so check you have a lower floor if stairs are a problem for you."
