"We stayed for 2 nights and found it a great place to stay. The staff were friendly, the room spacious and the hotel well maintained and clean. The standard room included a small table and settee, plus a mini fridge and safe. Fantastic! We particularly liked the position, just 10 mins walk from the Piccadilly area and actually on Gt Ancoats St, so bare minutes from the lively area of Ancoats. Would very happily stay again. "

"It’s a beautiful property with an excellent, buzzing space downstairs which didn’t disrupt us late into the evening. The rooms are finished to a great standard. My only problem was that the television had a weak signal and there was no access to apps like iPlayer - which is not very important, but I think nowadays people expect catch-up tv if there’s a big lovely television at the end of their bed. "Arriving on a cold January afternoon, you might expect the heating to be working. Unfortunately, it was not. There was an oil filled convector heater in place of the malfunctioning air con, but it wasn’t left on. The room measured a chilling 12 degrees on arrival and after an hour, I had to contact reception to have them organise another 2 convector heaters to bring the temperature up to a reasonable level.
