"Our stay was wonderful. The hotel blends into the jungle environment for nicely. Even though the baboons are noisy running on the roofs in the morning, it is fun to see them and the other monkeys playing all around the resort. The buffets had a larger variety of options with different options at each night. We had friends who were celebrating an anniversary while there and the singing staff were incredible with their version of a happy anniversary song! The only thing what would have been nicer was if the pool was warmer (the pool that overlooks the river is shaded and quite cool and cloudy). But we had an absolutely wonderful stay at a beautiful resort. "

The staff also went above and beyond, assisting with retrieving our luggage from Johannesburg and providing thoughtful support with laundry and toiletries. Their hospitality and attention to detail made our stay exceptional. We are truly grateful for this amazing experience and will gladly recommend Elephant Plains to anyone visiting the area.
