"Our stay was wonderful. The hotel blends into the jungle environment for nicely. Even though the baboons are noisy running on the roofs in the morning, it is fun to see them and the other monkeys playing all around the resort. The buffets had a larger variety of options with different options at each night. We had friends who were celebrating an anniversary while there and the singing staff were incredible with their version of a happy anniversary song! The only thing what would have been nicer was if the pool was warmer (the pool that overlooks the river is shaded and quite cool and cloudy). But we had an absolutely wonderful stay at a beautiful resort. "

The highlight of our trip was the remarkable safari adventures (game drives), where we had the chance to see elephants, giraffes, lions, rhinos, leopards, and more up close—a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. The delicious meals, tailored to accommodate vegetarian preferences, were excellent. The staff also went above and beyond, assisting with retrieving our luggage from Johannesburg and providing thoughtful support with laundry and toiletries. "If you want to go on safari in Kruger National Park, this is the place to stay! Two game drives per day (morning and afternoon/evening) with excellent guides. Because you are staying inside the park, you don’t have to worry about getting in and out of Kruger National Park before the gates close. Also, your guide can explore off-road places as well, getting you to where the animals are! Excellent food and service (all inclusive), spa treatments available on site, and an amazing rooms and facilities that overlook a river bed- you can relax and watch a herd if elephants walk by as you eat your lunch! Highly recommend!"

"Picked imbali as a good place for a short 3 day safari. Food portions were large and of good quality . There are some areas where the wood at the lodge and around the property need some replacement but overall didn’t detract from a lovely setting . Watering hole for elephants is directly opposite the restaurant area so good for breakfast and lunch . Safari drives were good and Jayden did a great job for us . Would have been nice to have a transfer from local airport Skukuza included in the cost of the room. Private hire was around £135 each way."
