"Close to gates"

"Being an older couple just off a long flight from Australia it would have helped us to be offered help with our bags. Bed was just heavenly 👏👏👏 The lighting - only enough good lighting for one to read the newspaper at the table and poor lighting for shaving in the bathroom. Also just a point -the body lotion container in the otherwise beautifully appointed bathroom was empty. "

"The hotel room was clean itself but looked on one of the lampshades there was some very unpleasant stains on it to say the least. The beds was very comfy along with the pillows and place felt clean overall. Also maybe a few less scratches on the wall, could maybe do with a lick of paint. Also there was a music event on till 1am and they gave us 1 extra hour on checkout which wasn’t really needed. "

"Overal had a good stay, staff were helpand polite, rooms were clean and comfortable. The one area that let this hotel down were the rooms were too hot at night, and could not control the a/c in the room to make it comfortable, at one point i was ready to sleep in the car. The a/c was controlled centrally by the hotel."

"Really lovely stay and the staff were super friendly. Definitely worth heading to the bar for a drink. It was a shame I couldn’t have a bath as the plug didn’t create a seal so the water drained out. We would definitely stay again if travelling from Gatwick."

"The property is good and beds very comfortable. The biggest negative was having to carry bags up and down the steps to reach elevator and or the final destination into the room. It is hard to carry large bags up and down the steps. "
