"The staff at front desk made the stay amazing. But beware that this property has been in Miami for a long long time. It’s a classic Miami Property with perfect location. Everything’s is 20 minutes away by driving. However, with new management and ownership, They managed to do a huge upgrade with the property and still renovating day by day! Restaurant food was good so was staff but not too friendly! They have the Miami i’m too cool for school attitude :P I recommend upgrading your room to water front. Oh, and we got a towel full of vomit smell, it was washed but not washed good enough. Parking was free so that’s a huge perk. checkout is at 11am and if your friendly they can let you out at 1pm maxx but they had a communication problem. They didn’t communicate with room service so they came and woke us up on our last 2 hr of sleep. but again after the friendly staff at lobby . that’s enough to let you forget anything bad happened. we are beyond grateful for the nice price they offered on expedia. Thanks everyone and good luck with renovation and please fix the phone line so people can call and make sure they are reserved and ready to check in. "

"I’ve been going to this property since it was known as the Yankee Clipper; 40 years now..appreciate the remodeling.. cashless property can become an annoyance. I had my card compromised just before my flight. $$$ to eat with instant 18% gratuity plus fees, a can of ginger ale is $5. I found this markup almost offensive. I stood 5 nights. The room was very nice, my window was covered in palms.. most lovely!! I will go back.. the price was great for the area..kid friendly for sure. Overall, would recommend for young & old!! "

"Amazing location, great price, nice pool and rooms. Perfect for a couple nights in town to watch Panthers Leafs playoff game. Parking is free and uber trip was 30 bucks to arena, only about 10 mins to Fort Lauderdale Beach. Really enjoyed our stay!"
