(The Christmas tree on the top of the first short flight of stairs was the first thing to catch my eye.) "Lovely overnight stay at the marriott Cardiff-easy check-in. Shame only 1 out of 3 lifts working when we checked in but by the evening 2 lifts were working. Room spacious and lovely comfy bed and pillows. Easy walk for all of Cardiff city centre bars, restaurants and shopping. Lovely breakfast (self service) in browns restaurant . All the staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend a stay here"
