"This hotel was great for a one night stay. I stayed in one of the smaller options rooms but was surprised at the amount of room I had (NB I travel alone so might not be as comfortable for a couple). The room was clean,bthe staff courteous and cheerful. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the SkyBus stop and a pleasant walk to the harbour and CBD shops. "

We had breakfast there also however the staff member was busy and we were forgotten about and had to go looking for staff to order then find our own cutlery after our breakfast arrived and the breakfast was ordinary. Other than that our room was great and had a nice view of the Harbour."

"The hotel is a lovely old establishment, one of the first in Hobart. We were very happy with the reception staff as they were very polite and helpful. Although the site shows pictures of the lovely dining and restaurant area don’t expect it to be open unless it’s the peak season,this was not specified on the site and we were disappointed we couldn’t dine there. Our room was very spacious with an enormous oversized bed and a nice view of the old church opposite. A bit dusty behind the bed but...
