"Surprised how nice and well appointed our room was as our son is living in another area of the hotel for 4 months as a study abroad student. Was expecting to be more dorm like, and it does have that feel a bit in decor, room and lobby which is very modern, concrete, minimalist. But has a nice bar, excellent drinks, everything you need and the room was clean and comfortable with a small kitchenette area, microwave, mini-fridge, large modern bathroom. Better than many upscale hotels we’ve stayed...

"Lovely hotel, spacious room on the 5th floor. Can be noisy at times with the lift/doors closing etc. Great location, we hired Lime scooters which were always parked outside the hotel; got everywhere we needed in Berlin within a 20 minute scooter ride. Polite and helpful staff at front desk. Signed us up as an IHG member to get a later (2pm) checkout for free. Nearby Edeka supermarket was a 3 min scooter ride away which has anything you need. Lots of restaurants on UberEats that deliver to hotel....

"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Dorint. The room was big and the facilities were excellent. We didn't use the spa or sauna but they are available for a fee. Reception was very friendly and offered plenty or tourist advice. Onsite parking is available for a fee. For longer stays, if you forfeit room cleaning, they offer a bar drink voucher as a reward. Town centre or Sanssouci palace each about 15 minutes walk. The buffet breakfast was the best we have had."
