All the staff were Mauritian and the difference is so noticeable that when you go to other non-Beachcomber hotels where much of the staff is seasonably imported and the standards are so poor. "The hotel itself is stunning the pictures on line do not do it justice. The atmosphere is so calm and relaxing. There are so many places to sit whether you want to sit in the shade or sunbath. The beach just across the road is beautiful and the hotel take a drinks trolley so that you can get cold drinks there. The snorkelling from the beach was good but the snorkelling trip ran by the hotel that takes you out is really worth doing. The restaurants were good we particularly liked Kot Nou serving...
