"We really enjoyed our stay at the Khum Phaya resort. Coming from busy Bangkok, the serenity of the pool and gardens was a wonderful change. "The location is absolutely stunning. I didn't know Thailand had any areas where the temperature was below 80 degrees F, or 27 degrees C. Lo and behold, this location gets down to 50 to 54 F, or 12 degrees C almost every night. When we were there it was rainy and chilly, but not cold. We ordered a BBQ for our tent/ room, along with enough food to cook for the next 5 to 6 hours right there in our balcony area. The BBQ not only cooked our food, but helped keep us warm as the temperature dropped...

""Luxury" is only in its name. We enjoyed our stay at their other great property in Mae Taeng before pre-covid19, but this Chiangmai location is in extremely poor condition.
