"We love this small hotel it has everything we need. The room is very comfortable and the people working there very nice and friendly. The owner will go out if his way to make your stay better as he did in my case. Our daughter graduated from a nearby university and it is just minutes away. A 7-11 is 1 minute away and A Big C shopping 3 minute walk. Parking is good. We will stay here again for 2 weeks in November. Overall I give the OYO 995 a top score in all areas. Had to drive 1.5 hours on a motoscooter back to Chiang Mai at 1:30am because the rooms are infested with GIANT ants in the beds, and hundreds of small ants in the bathroom. They tried to move us to a different room and right when I walked in a giant ant crawled across the pillow on the bed.They offered to place me in a "different area/room", if i paid them more money! They essentially tried to extort money out of me just so I could have a non- infested hotel...

"We had a magical time staying at Ban Rai Tin Thai Ngarm Eco Lodge. This is a family run lodge surrounded by their beautiful garden and the mountains, a paradise away from the city. The hosts are the most hospitable people I have ever met, they made us feel welcome immediately. Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts give advice and maps of the area to explore. My only regret is not staying longer, I never wanted to leave. If you are thinking about booking here, do it, you will not regret it!"

"It was a nice hotel. No hot water for the shower(or maybe i just didn't know how to turn it on, there didn't seem to be a hot water heater), but it was relatively quiet and a very good price. They even provided two bottles of water every day. The surrounding area wasn't great, it was a bit of a walk to city center."
