"The room was very quiet and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The windows can be opened. Excellent water pressure in the shower. The hotel is perfectly centered in the town. We would definitely stay again. "

"Expensive for what it was, but it was Matatini so lucky to get a room at late notice. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Location was the only reason for the noise being on the corner of a busy intersection of SH3 and the city centre."

"The basin soap dispenser was empty when we arrived and the shower soap dispenser fell off the shower wall while we were there. The electric blanket didn't work. However the staff member on reception was apologetic and very happy to help :)"

"This is a beautiful property to spend a few days in and I recommend it to anyone visiting the region. You also get a lovely view of Mt Taranaki from the kitchen window (weather permitting) which is so lovely. As other reviews have said, this property is luxurious and one of the cleanest accomodations I have stayed in. Wendy is an attentive host but allows space and privacy to enjoy your stay. We plan to come back again :)"
