"We were welcomed with a drink on the beautiful balcony while they brought our bags to the room. The room was spacious and air conditioned, however; the comforter was heavy. The breakfast was wonderful. A very nice buffet with an incredible view. They even had mimosas! The spa and outdoor tub looked nice but we did not use. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Great stay! All the staff were friendly. Nice view. My only complaint it was far too warm in the room and too hard to sleep with the down comforters. Also the hot tub/jacuzzi lukewarm. Breakfast was fantastic. "

Only minor criticism is that there was no small refrigerator in the room. Front desk and Mauricio at the bar were super-nice and responsive. "The most amazing views. 2 bedroom/ 1 bath accommodations were perfect for our trip. Restaurant was excellent. Conveniently located near train and little town. Staff was excellent. Spa service was excellent. Overall great hotel & stay !!!"

"Loved the stay with excellent views of the mountains, spa as well as a great breakfast spread and vegetarian options for dinner. Wish we had the option of using the microwave in the deluxe suite we were in, but otherwise the experience was fantastic. They also offer free pick up and drop from Grindelwald train stations. "I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Dakota. The hotel is a very short and easy walk from the train station, so it was easy to get around. There are many nice walking trails in the city, and the train ride to Lake Brienz is very short and convenient. The area is in a beautiful valley with gorgeous waterfalls nearby, including Reichenbach falls. There are also many nice shops nearby as well as a crafting/farmers market in the mornings. "Just a beautiful hotel in stunning surroundings! Super friendly staff, they even called me up when I was a late check in, to ask if they should prepare some late night dinner! Nice breakfast, great pool area and outdoor terrace. Will most definitely be back in this Mecca for all things outdoors!"
