"Fiesch is a great place to base yourself and the chalet is a good size and well equipped. I have just marked it down because it's a real slog to get up to the chalet. I wouldn't recommend if you are not reasonably fit unless you have a car. The place was pretty clean and any problems with the lock on the front door previously mentioned have been sorted. But there were a few issues that stopped it being 5*. The shower drain was blocked and quickly filled up. You have to put your own bedding on...

"It was hard to find at night, even with directions, so I recommend getting there during the day. But once you are there it is heaven. A great starting point for interlacken adventures and a friendly, helpful host."

Your view from an altitude of 4500 feet looking across at the snowcapped Wetterhorn Is lovely, with excellent views of the valley below and the Schwartzhorn as well. "Cannot give anything else other than 5 stars purely for the location. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds although the doubles were 2 camp beds pushed together. "We were a group of 9- multi- generational with ages 8 to 70. This home was very family- friendly with lots of spaces to spread out, and a large dining table for gathering for meals. It is a bit of a hike to get there, including 60 steps, but quiet and in a lovely setting with a great view of the Jungfrau from the balcony and back terrace. ""Romantic chalet bijou" is a perfect description: this is an ideal place if you're looking for somewhere quiet and "off the beaten track". Very clean and well equipped (the only thing missing was an iron, but we're happy not to iron our clothes!), and the terrace is lovely. A lovely base for exploring the upper Valais region."
