"We were a group of 9- multi- generational with ages 8 to 70. This home was very family- friendly with lots of spaces to spread out, and a large dining table for gathering for meals. It is a bit of a hike to get there, including 60 steps, but quiet and in a lovely setting with a great view of the Jungfrau from the balcony and back terrace. "This is an incredible place to stay! Your view from an altitude of 4500 feet looking across at the snowcapped Wetterhorn Is lovely, with excellent views of the valley below and the Schwartzhorn as well. The chalet is comfortable, clean, and very peaceful. The host is just wonderful and is friendly, generous, and helpful. I highly recommend this place!"

"Fiesch is a great place to base yourself and the chalet is a good size and well equipped. I have just marked it down because it's a real slog to get up to the chalet. I wouldn't recommend if you are not reasonably fit unless you have a car. The place was pretty clean and any problems with the lock on the front door previously mentioned have been sorted. But there were a few issues that stopped it being 5*. The shower drain was blocked and quickly filled up. You have to put your own bedding on...

""Romantic chalet bijou" is a perfect description: this is an ideal place if you're looking for somewhere quiet and "off the beaten track". Very clean and well equipped (the only thing missing was an iron, but we're happy not to iron our clothes!), and the terrace is lovely. A lovely base for exploring the upper Valais region."
