"Majestic Lion was always my go-to for work trips to Adelaide pre-pandemic, but i've since not stayed for ~5 years. Whilst lovely grounds and looks great from the outside, it is starting to feel a little dated in the room - same room I stayed in previously - and the cleanliness was questionable (toilet had dried urine from prior guest, odour from the bathroom drain). "It was in a good location but could be a bit dodgy/unsafe at night. In saying that the rooms were quiet even though you’re on a busy street. Only con was that the air cons weren’t great when in the bedroom and doors could use a security peephole. Otherwise great accom close to shopping, restaurants and the river."
