"I always read the reviews to get a sense of a property - this one didn’t have any on VRBO so decided to give it a try. I also find it humorous when people complain after the fact when they didn’t raise any issues at check in - note, I did. If there were reviews, this is what I would have learnt;The Good - nicely updated, new furnishings, new TV, comfy bed, great location.The Not So Good - No AC - there was language (now updated) that indicated that AC was to be installed 4 months ago, ok… no worries. Turns out it hasn’t been installed and seemed to me like including that language was at best sloppy or at worse deliberately mis-leading. To the credit of the owners they dropped off another fan on day 3. The hot water pressure - again to the credit of the host, I was informed at check-in that the water pressure is low and that best case is to not use the kitchen and bathroom at the same time, perfect - it’s just me, so I can do that. The hot water pressure in the building (which I heard is being addressed) is COMICALLY bad and I grew up in the NE Suburbs in the 80’s (and that was bad). I can live with that, except you will need a degree in Physics, Engineering and Plumbers license to find the right ratio of (slow) hot water and (faster) cold water in the shower.Oh and the washing machine likes to move into the bedroom when on spin cycle.Hosts were responsive and owners came with an extra fan - so thanks for that."

"The house was just what we were expecting and more. Julie was a generous and friendly host who responded to all of my questions promptly. Tue property was so lovely and the location was just perfect for us to watch to the beach and get coffee each day. Henley beach itself is so close to Adelaide city and all of their attractions. We felt right at home the whole time. Could easily live here!"

"Electronic key pad to enter the apartment. Very clean, with a kitchen, refrigerator, small couch/futon. 2 bedroom plenty of plugs and free WiFi. Excellent location to shops and the beach. The location is hard to find but the property manager sends detailed description. Just make sure to copy this and give it to others if you are getting pick up. I would definitely stay there again. It was very close to other neighborhoods one of which my friends lived so took no time at all to get pick up and or take a short Uber to them. Just had a few short days but it was a great place to rest and relax when not out and about doing the tourist things. "
