"What an amazing little site, from the helpnon thenphone before arriving to check in, freindly and helpful. Lodge was so nice and spotless, hot tub was clean, provate amd loveley, has a little shop on site and runs on honesty, very nice touch. "

Only issue this time was someone clearly had too much to drink in the village and people were shouting in the early hours of the morning. This woke me and i struggled to get back to sleep, but nothing to do with the inn."

"We had a wonderful 3-night stay and Helene was the perfect host. The room was large and clean with a very comfortable bed. The pre-ordered breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect as a base for everywhere we wanted to visit in Yorkshire and right next to Pickering centre. Would certainly highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Only point to make is, if wanting to visit steam train or Pickering castle, check opening times. "

"What an incredible stay we had. A beautiful room and the most delicious of breakfasts. We were so spoilt having homemade sourdough bread each morning. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Pascal is the most amazing host, so friendly and engaging. We would recommend this to all. 5 stars do not seem enough to rate this!
