"Overall a nice property with friendly staff in a good easily walkable location to the seafront and shops bars there. It has a nice bar and does good food in the restaurant and the general areas were well kept. What let it down for me was the room we had was lacking in that there was very poor water pressure in the shower, tv didn’t work, minimal hanging space and generally tired. They do have different types of rooms however and we were staying in what I think was the oldest part of the property...

"This place is truly amazing. From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. The hotel is beautifully appointed with some very eclectic touches of funriture and decoration. The staff deliver superb service. They even made a big fuss of Dizzi our Staffy. The food was amazing. I'de definitely recommend the venison. We will definitely be back and soon."

I speak for myself of course but they could not do enough - decor well thought out, sumptuous duvet, mattress and pillows and a delicious home cooked breakfast, to name just a few things. "I have stayed in many places and I can safely say this was one of my top three! Cozy clean super comfortable the surrounding ( the village) quaint and gorgeous friendly bar downstairs gave first drink on the house for guests the breakfast was delicious and homemade wonderful service bed unbelievably comfortable I could move in ! Honestly I wish I could give it 100 stars and more ! We will go back for sure … Christmas lights( sweet and tasteful) were a bonus as were the homemade eco friendly...
