"I stay at this hotel whenever I go to Plymouth. The main criticism I have with it is that the rooms are so hot, and the air-conditioning switches off during the night. The beds are very small, and very uncomfortable, and the quilts are so heavy and thick, which coupled with the heat in the room makes for a very sleepless night. "Host (James) was really nice and welcoming. I had a single room with its own bathroom which was perfect and clean - it had everything - tv, shower sink and toilet - a small built in wardrobe to hang clothes, a desk and chair and a bed with a bedside table. There was a good selection of teas and coffees and was given fresh milk for the room on arrival. Location was a short 10-15 minute walk into the city centre and its even closer to the seafront (hoe). "Lots of instruction from the owner on how to get in and maintain the property etc. Property is very spacious and well maintained and has a beautiful view. Excellent communication from the owner too. Maybe would have liked to see some basics supplied such as tea and long life milk. Also as a tall person i hit my head on light fittings a few times, as well as the angled walls.
