"Great hotel to stay while in Annecy. Walking distance to the old town and the lake. The room was very clean and comfortable - though the bed was much too hard for us. The hotel is very modern with modern decor. Breakfast was good in the restaurant overlooking the lake. We had a really great stay at Le Pelican hotel. "

To use the spa you have to ask at reception for bathrobes, then traipse thru the bar to get to the spa pools, swimming pool, and sauna/hammam. "We were on foot and able to walk to/from the train station through Annecy which took a leisurely 40 mins (for those so inclined - it’s a hill!). The climb was worth it. Beautiful lake view from our window and pleasant concierge staff. We rented e-bikes (40e/each) for a day and road the beautiful 26mile path around the lake. Also easy access to hiking trails above Les Tresomes. Highly recommend! "

"Being that my stay was in June, it was very difficult to find transport to and from without my own car. Limited front desk hours (ability to check in) also made this more difficult to coordinate.
