"We stayed one night on our way to Scotland. The hotel is easy to find on the outskirts of Berwick upon Tweed and is located in beautiful grounds. On arrival we were made to feel welcome and check-in was simple. Our room was lovely, very big with a large en suite and a view over the gardens on the "pods". As others have commented the rooms are not totally sound proof, but we weren't bothered by the noise. We slept well in a very comfortable bed. Dinner was excellent. The food was very tasty...

There's no TV in our room, no internet access as well which is a bummer 😕😔 Apart from that it's good that our room is situated in the ground floor which is good for me since I'm a disabled and the bathroom is a big plus,too!"

"We enjoyed our recent stay here. The room was excellent with a spotless new bathroom and comfortable bed. Better pillows would have been nice but not a problem for a short stay. "Had an excellent night's sleep here before the Jedburgh Ultra. The bedding was high-thread Egyptian cotton and felt very smooth and cool and luxurious. The mattress was super-comfy too. The owners Amanda and Rob were really welcoming when I arrived. It was just a few minutes walk from the bus stop. There were codes for the front door, porch door and rooms, so it felt secure. An early start for me, so I didn't have time for breakfast, but looked like lots of good options available for that too....

"Good place for a 2 night stay. Single beds were very narrow for an adult. No towels or tea towels which would have been good. Service from the owner was brilliant...she is a very nice lady. It was a shame that the pub/restaurant has closed as you have to go in to Berwick for food. "
