"Great hotel in a convenient location, connected to the casino, across the road from a huge shopping centre and the tram stop to surfers paradise. Hotel staff were all lovely and very helpful. Rooms were nice, leaning towards smart casual not high luxury, but they were great nonetheless. Would stay again. "

"This is our second stay at the Q1 & noted that the place seems run down since our last stay (around 7 years ago). The rooms are starting to look dated & are in need of some TLC. Also the showers could be better cleaned around the door frames, I could see dirt which was not pleasant. The halls ways felt too hot and the carpet needed more regular vacuuming. "

"Rooms a little dated but clean, staff for check in was fantastic, area is great .... the balcony is a good bonus walls are thin, you can hear the room upstairs and on the sides, and on the lower level considering the open air club across the hotel, can get noisy ... Overall very happy with the hotel!"
