There are many nice walking trails in the city, and the train ride to Lake Brienz is very short and convenient. "The hotel is lovely. Views magnificient. The little town is adorable. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Used this as a base to go visit Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen. Lots of history. Breakfast was yummy. The only two issues we had with the room was the lack of significant lighting in the bathroom. There was one small recessed light. The other thing was the corner shower was very tight for the hubs. "
