"Freindly staff and environment "

"Check in was quick and easy and the receptionist answered all of our questions. We discovered that we had been upgraded to a suite which was lovely. It was very well appointed although there were some areas that needed attention (dirty curtains and black mold on the bathroom ceiling). However the towels and bed linen were all clean and we appreciated the sitting area and coffee machine. Dinner was a little disappointing as there were only 4 choices on the menu and one wasn’t available. There were also some burgers that could be ordered from the lounge menu but that isn’t really what you expect for dinner in a hotel of this calibre. However we did enjoy the food we ordered and prices were reasonable. Breakfast was very nice but more fresh fruit and some ‘proper’ bread would have been nice. I also prefer a cooked breakfast made to order with a variety of eggs available (and maybe some smoked salmon too!). The leisure club was small but nice enough for a short stay. We definitely left feeling more relaxed than when we arrived so our stay certainly fulfilled its purpose! "

"Absolutely perfect location right by the cathedral and a short walk to sites and restaurants all around Norwich. The Maids Head is a very classy, old school hotel that is clearly proud of its history and tradition."

"Had a amazing stay only let down by lamb at dinner tough as old boots couldn’t eat any off it ask for it to be taken off bill restaurant manager thought she was do market deal send waiter to tell me she will give me 50 % because I Eaton al the veg lol Not the money as give refund to waiter. "This is a great apartment to stay in while in Norwich. 1. Very close to train station and city centre. 2. Well equipped kitchen for self-catering. 3. Comfy bed and bathtub. 4. Good wifi so was able to do work. However, 1. In the kitchen area, they should make sure screws are screwed down well to avoid sliced toes. 2. Heater was a bit unpredictable - had to ask for help on first day. 3. There was a lot of light from the street coming through at night and also from the corridor. The apartments are also on a lane that seemed to be a place for noisy, drunk people to walk down. Overall, a great apartment. "

"Very professional staff. Convenient for an early flight as the hotel is basically in the parking lot of the airport. If staying longer a park and ride is across from the hotel so you can explore Norwich with out having to drive. "
