"An enormous hotel complex within a golf course, comfortable and clean, but a bit impersonal when empty on a cold February weekend. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had the shower in the bath. The spa was good at £20 for two hours especially as I had it to myself. We ate in the bar on Saturday night, which had several menu options, rather than the vast empty dining room. Nice views over the lakes and golf course but not somewhere to go walking. Not cosy but good value. "

"The staff were great but there are too few of them for a larger hotel. The basics like the faulty drain in the sink and very temperamental shower controls, lights that would not switch off individually (all on or all off only option) made the room feel very tired. Communal areas nice and breakfast good. "
