"A very enjoyable stay in the pretty and quiet village of Badby. The house was just as described and perfect for our needs. Good little playground and cafe and pub a short walk away. In a perfect world the curtains in the bedrooms would have blackout lining (for the summer sunrises) and the dishwasher would be replaced as the racks are shedding rust, but otherwise a fantastic stay."

"A beautiful, spacious, secluded, property with great country views. Peace and tranquility meant instant relaxation. Just a 2 mile drive to Foxton Locks, and a few miles to Market Harborough. Miles of open countryside which is very rolling, ideal for challenging cycling. My only criticism is that the sound insulation between the two semi detached properties was inadequate. Otherwise marvellous and we will return."

"Stayed here for Christmas at this beautiful cottage. From the time of booking, Merrick was a pleasure to deal with. He even arranged for the fire to be lit for when we got there! Upon arrival the cottage was so appealing and absolutely immaculate. It was everything that we had hoped for. It had everything that you could need and all of it was of the highest quality. Thank you so much and we would love to return as we all had a really special time"

"The cottage was very quirky and filled with nick nacks and excess furniture. It looked like the owners still lived there. The spare bedroom ceiling had just been replastered and was still drying !! We had trouble with one of the toilets but this was dealt with very quickly and I have no complaints about the property manager. None of the electrical equipment was PAT tested."

"Beautifully appointed and well-finished property, spotlessly clean, bright and airy. The kitchen was well equipped for self-catering, and the bedrooms and bathroom were very luxurious. Quality fixtures and furnishings made this a home from home and the hosts were very helpful during our stay. "The purpose of our stay was for my elderly parents to have a small break and I chose this property as being suitable for their needs. Our expectations were definitely fulfilled. It is beautiful property in a pretty setting. Highlights for us was that being all on one level was easy for my elderly parents.
