"Great stay a short walk from the centre of Moffat. Caroline and Miles are super helpful and nice (Miles kept parking spaces free for us so we could park our motorcycles right outside the front of the hotel.) Plenty of parking on this quiet street. There are just 3 rooms here. They are a good size, warm and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is great quality with lots of choice. Couldn’t fault the quality and service and will definitely return."

"We enjoyed our stay. Our room was comparatively small, aside from the king-sized bed - it's an old inn after all - but very comfortable and well equipped. "If there's a b & b anywhere where the hosts are more attentlve, i've yet to visit it. A real gem of a place, spotlessly clean, great breakfast and a 5 minute walk to the town centre make this a great place to come. We have been twice now and there is sure to be a third when we revisit Dumfries."

"The hotel is a stately home. More like a Manor that is just outside Penpont; Thornhill is just a 5 min drive. It’s located in a gorgeous area surrounded by lovely old oak trees and the Scaur River. Excellent for a good walk. "
