"Mold around the bathtub, cockroaches, spiders and moths in room, main TV did not work, missing light bulbs/various different light bulbs, asked them to change and also install where missing. Pool was dirty, debris in pool and a chair, mattress was very hard and uncomfortable, the safe did not work, offered us a free breakfast due to the cockroach issue. Staff was the only good thing. Definitely needs refurbishing."

"This is definitely not a 4 stars hotel. It must be a 2 stars boutique homestay instead. Room is too small for 2 king bed. Bathroom is too small with old shower stall. Old furniture and squeaking wood floor. Felt unwelcome by the management. Definitely not happy stay and not recommend to others. "

That is not my opinion-the desk clerk escorted us to the grocery and back, made sure our Uber was in front before we left the lobby, etc. The area is not rundown. I was sad that our visit was altered by this circumstance. "

"All hotel staffs are great, only last minutes upon check out, lady came to me and said because we ( 7 people ) check out at 12.00, we can’t have any drinks and dinner anymore at the hotel, it’s strange hotel policy. "Nice guesthouse, in a quite safe area of Johannesbourg. I stayed there for more than 3 weeks, being in the area for my job. Unfortunately there are not restaurants very close but the guesthouse is not far (less than 3 km) from The Glen Shopping Centre, where you can find many restaurants and fast foods. In addition, the owners now offer the possibility to have dinner in the guesthouse, cooked by them, if reserved in the morning everyday, choosing from a varied menu. The rooms are spacious,...
