"The resort was nice. Dining options were okay. My husband stepped on a scorpion fish on our first day, and had to go to the hospital (it's been 3 weeks, still not healed). This happened to 4 other people the week we were there. The resort needs to warn people and suggest wearing water shoes. "

"My husband and I really loved the resort and all of the activities. The staff was extremely attentive and always on call when we needed them. Our only complaint was the noise from the construction crew that started at around 8:45 to 9:00 at night. I guess they were preparing for the event the followig evening, which was fun by the way. I think guest should be warned before hand and given the option to stay or be placed in another room. Once again, it was not the beach party that was...

"Beautiful well manicured grounds, two safe lagoons and pool, tasty food and options for dining, service was top notch and friendly, room was good, on the beach! This hotel is conveniently located nearamy quality dining and bar options, within walking distance to restaurants, and walkable to Pounds, Bridge, downtown. On a bus line to Mambo Beach also. Overall an excellent choice for couples or families. This facility takes pride in their history. "

"The convenience of the location of Riu Palace was awesome. Everything we needed was right there within walking distance. Restaurants, shopping, Casinos were all within a short walk. The property was kept very clean and well manicured. The roomwe stayed in was fairly clean but needed some minor upgrades. For example, the light fixtures on the wall were pretty oxidized and the metal was peeling I am guessing from the salt water, but wasn't a huge deal. We did have one instance where we lost power...
