In August I booked and paid for the Preferred Club Mare Beachfront Bungalow King also known as the "PODS" and was very excited to the vacation and stay at the property that I paid for. I also traveled with another couple who also booked the same property. After 2 months have gone by, I was informed that the "PODS" were not available via the other couple who followed the Facebook group that also complained. I then emailed the reservation team and asked if the PODS were available. I received a reply stating the reservation was CONFIRMED. Once I arrived at the check-in desk, I was informed the PODS were not available and I would have to stay in a regular resort room which I had no other choice because we had flown into a foreign country and I had nowhere else to stay. I was then offered a free 7-night stay at the actual place I reserved by way of a certificate once I checked out that had to be used within a year. I accepted and went on my way to attempt to enjoy my vacation. Upon checkout, I was told the reservation team is off (not working the weekends) and they would e-mail the certificate to me. After contacting the lead butler, he assured us the certificate would be sent to us and not to worry. I checked out Saturday DEC 7 2024 and I still have not received the certificate but the couple we traveled with did because they were forced to stay at Zoetry (across the street from Dreams) the same day. Extremely disappointed. This is clearly the worst resort I have been at. Yes, the property is beautiful however the food is horrible. Hot dogs and hamburgers are the standard. Birds and pigeons all over buffet. The room is very underwhelming and dirty. (see attached photos) The activities are nonexistent. The resort shuts down at 10:30. No late-night music or dancing or events. Not enough beach lounges and most are broken. Bars run out of ice, vodka, cucumbers. The bartenders tell you to try another bar if they run out of a particular alcohol. Ac broke. Leak in ceiling. Slow room service. Staff is not happy. They do not smile or even greet you when they pass you on the property. Very difficult to get into restaurants Never could get into Portofino. Portofino was closed on Sunday. Some in our group needed fans in their rooms. I am in total shock that Hyatt would put their name on this resort. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

Hyatt should be ashamed. Everything was outdated, old and worse of all dirty. My room was not cleaned two out of five nights. There were only TWO restaurants. 1 cafe, 1 buffet and room service. The food from room service was inconsistent. The pool was small and had algae. No bartender at pool. There were birds EVERYWHERE trying to get food. There were mosquitoes and flies at the two outdoor restaurants. Thatā€™s why we ate in a lot. It was rainy season so bugs are inevitable. It was DEFINITELY NOT WORTH MY MONEY.

My wife and I got married here at Dreams. Even though we were 2 days late bc of not making flight in Miami, Indiomar did a fantastic job and everything he set up it met our needs. He and his staff are wonderful. The front desk and room service were very delightful. Went above and beyond from the time we got here. We will be back, possibly anniversary

Customer service is nonexistent, food options are limited, the resorts needs serious repair, the entertainment is decent but not authentic to the island. In over 30 years of traveling the world, this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Luxury resort is a joke. I bet there are nicer motels.

I wouldnā€™t stay at another Dreams resort even if it were free. Iā€™ve traveled all over the world and never had an experience this bad. Complaints fall on deaf ears and itā€™s obvious staff does not care. Housekeeping does not replace towels or properly clean, bartenders ignore patrons at the bar and even in the midst of possible delay with the hurricane, the resort wouldnā€™t even offer a discounted stay. Worst worst worst resort ever. And the nerve to be marketed as luxury. That place needs to be closed down, and renovated with proper customer service training. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone made sure you had a wonderful time. The only thiinh that I disliked is that the rooms can use a bit of renovating.

Air conditioning needs to be updated. It was unable to keep up with 100 heat index. There was a large floor fan in the room but it was still very warm. Otherwise the room was nice. Bed was comfortable. Room was good size and clean. Refridge was restocked everyday. Furniture was older micentury modern. Food and drink service was spotty. Sometimes it took long waits for food and drinks. Other times though it was great. Just depended on server.

This is the 5th time I stay at a Dream property. This was my first time at Dream in Curacao. My room was great but the cleanliness of the bathroom was something. The tub was dirty and i know this because i got in the tub with my slippers and rubbed the walls with them and dirty came off. In think the bathroom door should be wiped dow. there were black finger prints and specks of blood. Food and drinks were good. I asked about being upgraded or if there was a cost to be in preferred club but it was not offered. I did love the property being safe and overall quiet.
