"Lovely place with really helpful staff and good food. We stayed ofernight to meet friends and celebrate a birthday. Dinner was excellent and reasonably priced and breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. There is a good choice of food on the dinner menu. The rooms were good for the price and breakfast was included. "We’ve stayed at the Crossways several times over the past 5 years and have ALWAYS had a pleasant stay however, on this occasion although the accommodation was the usual high standard the food in the restaurant was very poor, we did mention this so the staff were aware, the food was poorly presented and quite chewy (I’m particularly talking about the lasagne) the gluten free options for my mother were limited (no gf bread/bun) they used do amazing chunky chips but are now soggy fries, I’m not...

"A.B&B was a wonderful place to stay. I did not feel like I was staying in a B&B. It was very much home from home feel. David catared to all my needs. Breakfasts were delicious as it was tailered to what I liked. The room its self was cosy with a very comfy bed. David himself was a nice guy, I enjoyed chatting with him. "Needed a hotel where I could leave a trailer. Extremely helpful when I phoned and equally helpful in sorting out afternoon tea even though their kitchen was shut. One of the best meals I have had at the restaurant especially when considering the price. Good breakfast choice. Grounds beautiful and resident peacock and peahen. Tranquil. Bed comfortable just needed to be a little careful of low ish beam in room."
