You have to ask the guy on the gate which way to go, then he has you do a semi check in there, which holds everyone else up trying to enter the property. "Best hotel to start the year 2024! The service was great. The staff were super polite and friendly. The room was vast and I added with a rollaway bed without any issues - still very spacious. There’s free breakfast too. Near shopping complex just this one focused more on electronic products. Not something tourists will want to buy. Haha. Overall, I will stay in this hotel again. ❤️"

"The Borneo Eagle is an exclusive five star hotel - newly launched. The staff are excellent, facilities good - the only issue we had was the plethora of sand flies which caused a lot of issues sitting outside. We talked to the Manager about this and understand a machine is being shipped to deal with this issue - also the beach on the offside of the hotel was covered with plastic bottles and rubbish, which should be cleared on a daily basis to support the high quality nature of the hotel."
