The only minor downside is the noise at night. Apparently that street is like the hollywood of Taipei. The young people start loitering outside the hotel across the street at a coffee shop called Fake Sober that turns into a club at night. It gets pretty loud and a bunch of young kids that look like they're still...

"Nice boutique hotel, conveniently located to train, MRT and local attractions. Need to note the lobby is on 17th floor with no porterage. I was travelling alone w multiple large cases, so that would have been an issue if I wasn’t as well planned on mobility. Also there is a charge for left luggage storage (I was quoted NT500/piece/night), which I thought was unreasonably high. Most hotels I stayed in would have offered complimentary luggage storage for a reasonably short period of time."
