"We loved our stay at this hotel it was very beautiful. We found it a bit tough getting back to our jungle lodge at night. The mountainous terrain was difficult to climb and when we called for shuttles they did not always come quickly. If I knew the terrain I would have tried to book a pricey golf cart for the week. By the time we caught on there were none available and we had to rely on the resort for transport. Not always a great option. "

"My favorite place of the entire trip!! Great hosts and excellent chef. Soooo peaceful and very romantic in a rustic sense. The wonderful lodge-like structure is somewhat secluded on an island near Bocas Del Toro, It is only accessible by boat and most tours will pick you up at their dock. The English-speaking owner can help arrange this. They have a sweet dog that bonds quickly to guests, but is not intrusive. Love this place!!!"

"From the minute José met us at the Bocas airport, every minute of this adventure and stay was absolute perfection. Casa Cayuco manager Alondra met us at the dock to welcome us and give us a tour. She’s a lovely young woman who goes above and beyond in all she does – like everyone who works at this magical eco resort. We stayed in the one treehouse on the property which was incredible.
