"Staff were always polite, helpful and professional. Roadworks at the front door were an inconvenience but outside the control of the hotel. Breakfast in the restaurant was great, good range of options. Two things that could be improved: 1. The chaise lounge was very uncomfortable - almost no cushioning. 2. provide a toilet brush! It's embarrassing to have to leave marks in the toilet when other people in the room go to use it."

"I have stayed at the Grand Chancellor many times and it never disappoints. Excellent location with a reasonable cost of $25 per day for parking. Centrally located and close to most facilities (Adelaide Station, Casino, Adelaide Oval, Adelaide’s “glitter strip”Hindley Street and Rundle Mall. Museum, State Library, Adelaide Uni, Parliameny House and Convention Centre are all close by. "Booking details were all correct and special requests catered to in full. No noise at all from the rooms facing the rear of the property and we are very light sleepers."

"I like that the room was very big and comfy with automatic air conditioning. The space for hanging clothes was big and the Queen bed was very nice too. The TV showed the welcome message with my name made me feel so happy. Really great staying here. "
