"Beware! This hotel is NOT in Nafplio. It is falsely listed as being Nafplio. We had wanted to visit Nafplio and had only one night to do so, so we were VERY disappointed. This is 20 minutes from Nafplio. Lovely hotel and staff, but we were unable to visit Nafplio as we had wanted. Neither hotel nor Expedia would offer any full or partial refund. Poor form."

"Very friendly stuff, I stay first night in the room next to the reception and entrance it was noisy and not comfortable, next day they change it to the backyard (thank u irina )room it's comfortable and private, good breakfast buffet with nice atmosphere in the garden, the hotel is close to the center , I highly recommend it. "We absolutely loved our stay in Nafplio at the Castellanos. What a wonderful town! The staff were exceptionally wonderfully and helpful. The place was clean, great views from all the rooms. The breakfast was wonderful, they even did room service for us one morning! Family of 5 all agreed this was a favorite. We would book this again. "

"Gorgeous hidden gem! A little lost in the middle of nowhere but well worth the detour. Rooms,view, pool,staff, breakfast 10/10. Be careful though as according to google map there 2 roads that lead to the property. One is an old road, no longer maintained not paved and very dangerous. Make sure you take the right road."

"Nice room with incredible views of the Palamidi fortress, Nafplio old town, and the harbour. Wonderful location in the old town near all the shops, restaurants, beach, and sea wall. Breakfast buffet was also excellent. "
