"Absolutely loved our stay and we were delighted to see the hotel decked out in Christmas decorations. It was a pleasant surprise and so festive. We stayed one night after a show at the Fox Theater. It was perfect to walk a block from the hotel to the theater. The area around the hotel was full of fun shops, restaurants and coffee places. Will definately go back!"

"Booked it for our first big bear lake trip, and it was excellent experience. We got to our building with no problem, and even though there was problem with the indoor parking due to our neighbor’s truck being too huge and blocking the walkway, Dennis at the front desk was so nice and offer us a different parking right away. "Hunter's Retreat is such a comfortable, clean, and lovely home to get away to. Everything that we needed was provided for us and my family had a great time walking down memory lane watching a few of the home's classic movies that are available to watch. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with every serving/cooking/kitchen item one might need. "This is property is excellent condition except two things: - We wish they have food wrap and foil wrap - Air-conditioning of the room on the second floor does not work, so it is quite hot up there The rest is no complaints. We all love this property."
